1. What material are the Poly Bag made of?
The compostable bag are made of PLA(Polylactic Acid.) and PBAT (olybutylene Adipate) plant-based materials instead of plastic. This natural composition makes them 100% compostable and biodegradable.
The recycled poly bags are made from recycled polyethylene (PE). Polyethylene is a type of plastic widely used in the production of various plastic products, including plastic bags and plastic films.
2. What certifications do the compostable bag have?
Our mailers are TÜV Austria OK compost HOME & INDUSTRIAL certified in compliance with EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 testing standards.
3. What’s the difference between compostable bag and regular poly bag?
Compostable abgs are more eco-friendly and will degrade completely. They have slightly lower durability and higher price but with added branding value.
