Rigid mailers are excellent for dispatching small items such as jewelry, watches, or any merchandise susceptible to damage if folded or crushed during transportation. If you’re shipping goods that require one-way transit only, such as books or magazines, consider opting for durable stay-flat mailers as a option.
2. How thick can a rigid mailer be?
Commonly, rigid mailers are available from 18 pt thickness to 28 pt, or 250 to 450gsm. If need super rigid, thickness need to be at least 500-600gsm.
3. Are rigid mailers considered flats?
Yes. if it over 3/4″ thick, and will be classified and priced as a package (parcel).
